A golf course, arena, baseball park, stadium, <br />circus or gymnasium is a recreation field or building for the purpose of this City Code. <br /> <br /> Recreational Vehicle - Any mobile home as defined herein which is less <br />than thirty (30) feet in overall length. <br /> <br /> Restaurant (class I) - Traditional restaurant where food is served by a <br />waiter or waitress to a customer and consumed while seated at a counter or table. Food is <br />served on non-disposable containers. <br /> <br /> Restaurant (Class II) - Fast food restaurants in which a majority of the <br />customers are served food at a counter and take it to a table to eat at or may take food <br />outside to consume in a vehicle or offthe premises. <br /> <br /> Roofline - The top of the coping; or, when the building has a pitched roof, <br />as the intersection of the outside wall with the roof. <br /> <br /> Setback - The minimum horizontal distance between a building and lot <br />line. Distances are to be measured from ground level except as provided hereinafter. <br /> <br /> Slope - The degree of deviation of a surface from the horizontal, usually <br />expressed 'in percent or degrees. <br /> <br /> Solar Access - That access between the solar energy collector and the sun <br />which must be free of obstructions that shade the collector to an extent which precludes <br />the effective operation. <br /> <br /> Solar Energy - Radiant energy that is direct, diffused, and reflected <br />energy received from the sun. <br /> <br /> Story - That portion of a building including beneath the upper surface of a <br />floor and upper surface of floor next above, except that the topmost story shall be that <br />portion of a building included between the upper surface of the tog.most floor and the <br />ceiling or roof above. If the finished floor level directly above a basement or cellar, or <br />unused underfloor space is more than six (6) feet above grade as defined herein for more <br />than 50 percent of the total perimeter or is more than twelve (12) feet above grade as <br />defined herein at any point, such basement, cellar, or unused underfloor space shall be <br />considered a story. <br /> <br /> Street Frontage - The proximity of a parcel of land to one or more <br />streets. An interior lot has one street frontage and a coruer lot has two frontages. In no <br />case shall street frontages in the Urban Area be less than 40 feet and in the Rural Area, <br />street frontages shall not be less than 200 feet except lots fronting on cul-de-sacs shall <br />have not less than an 80 foot frontage. <br /> <br />9.02 - Definitions 9-17 Jan.
