Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec recessed the regular meeting of the City Council at 9:12 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council back to order at 9:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #5: <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Request for Vacation of Easements; Case of Oak Creek <br />Builders <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 9:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner Wald stated that the City Council would be reviewing the preliminary plat of <br />Alpine Acres at their June 24, 2003 meeting. The property being platted as part of Alpine Acres <br />included underlying drainage and utility easements that were platted as part of the single family <br />residential Lutz Ramsey Acres subdivision. Now the property is being proposed to be replatted <br />as a townhouse development, which will contain new drainage and utility easements around all <br />common areas, drainage ponds, and public utilities. City staff recommended introduction of the <br />ordinance to vacate existing easements. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />There was none. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Strommen, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Strommen, Pearson, Cook, <br />Kurak, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 9:21 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Action <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the City Council was called back to order at 9:21 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated that he wants to make sure that they don't vacate any <br />easements for Alpine Drive. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to introduce <br />an ordinance to vacate certain drainage and utility easements in Lutz Ramsey Acres subdivision, <br />contingent upon review by the City Attorney to verify that easements for Alpine Drive are not <br />vacated. <br /> <br />City Council/June 24, 2003 <br /> Page 20 of 37 <br /> <br /> <br />
