comply with this Section has been made. The Planning Commission Shall <br />conduct the public hearing and forward a recommendation to City Council. The <br />City Council shall review the Commission's recommendation and act upon the <br />request in the form of a resolution. <br /> <br />5.16.06 Termination Of Permit. A permit shall terminate upon the occurrence <br />of any of the following events, whichever first occurs: <br /> a. The date stated in the permit, it' any; or <br /> b. A violation of conditions and subsequent revocation of permit in <br /> accordance with procedures provided for in Section 5.16.07. <br /> c. Unless otherwise specified by the City Council at the time it is <br /> authorized, a permit shall expire without further notice to the <br /> permittee, if: <br /> 1) the use is not initiated within 12 months of the date of <br /> City Council approval; <br /> 2) or if the permit is discontinued for a continuous 12 <br /> month period; <br /> unless a written request for an extension of time has been received <br /> and approved by the City Council prior to the expiration of the <br /> original permit. ~ <br /> <br />5.16.07 <br /> <br />Revocation Procedure. The procedure for the City revocation of a <br />permit shall be as follows. In the event that violations of any conditions <br />set forth in the permit occur, the City Council shall have the authority to <br />revoke the permit. The permittee shall be notified by City Staff, in <br />writing, of the possible violations of the permit, given seven (7) days to <br />provide a written response to the possible violations, and notified of the <br />date on which the possible violations and revocation or continuance of <br />the permit will be reviewed by the City Council. The City Council <br />review of possible violations shall be within 30 days of the date of the <br />written notification of the violations to the permittee. By resolution, the <br />City Council may revoke or confirm the continuation of the permit. <br /> <br />Section 3. Penalty <br /> <br />5.16.08 <br /> <br />Penalty.
