introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #03-06- RESOLUTION GRANTING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION TO THE SITE PLAN DEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR SUNFLOWER RIDGE WHEREAS, Oakwood Land Development, Inc., hereinafter referred.to as "Developer", properly applied for site plan approval on the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: The East Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota. (the "Subject Property") WHEREAS, on April 9, 2002, the City of Ramsey received an application and site plan for the proposed townhome development of Sunflower Ridge; and WHEREAS, on May 2, 2002, the Planning Commission reviewed the site' plan and recommended City Council approval of same; and WHEREAS, on May 28, 2002, the City Council reviewed and approved the ske plan for Sunflower Ridge; and WHEREAS, the Development Permit for the development of Sunflower Ridge established that the required site improvements be. installed by May 31, 2003; and WHEREAS, construction has not commenced and on April 10, 2003, the then current Developer (US Home Corporation) submitted plans for a revision to the final plat of the first phase of Sunflower Ridge approved on July 23, 2002, that would eliminate Lots 1-13, Block 3; and WHEREAS, City Staff is recommending that the City Council grant a one year extension to the Site Plan Development Permit to install the required site improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants a one year extension to May 31, 2004, to install the required site improvements established in the Site Plan Development Permit for Sunflower Ridge. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: -135-
