3. A regional'flood Plain. "~ <br /> <br />Within 1,000 feet of the nearest edge of the right-of-way of any <br />state, federal or interstate highway or of the boundary of a <br />public park or of an occupied dwelling. <br /> <br />Locations considered hazardous because of the proximity of <br />airports. <br /> <br />An. area which is unsuitable because of reasons of topography, <br />geology, hydrology or soils. <br /> <br />Within 500 feet of any known source of groundwater <br />contamination or any other known source of pollution. <br /> <br />An area where groundwater is contaminated or lies within the <br />path of the migration of contaminated groundwater. <br /> <br />Required Practices for Maintenance and Operation of Industrial <br />Solid Waste Land Disposal Facilities. Any person who maintains <br />or operates an industrial solid waste land disposal facility or permits <br />the use of property for such a facility, must maintain and operate the <br />facility in conformance with the following practices unless otherwise <br />allowed by the City in issuing the conditional use permit: <br /> <br />1. Open burning is prohibited. <br />2. <br /> <br />Industrial solid waste must not be deposited in a manner that <br />allows material or leachings therefrom to cause pollution of <br />ground water or surface water. <br /> <br />Proposed separation between the lowest portion of the facility <br />and the high water table elevation must be a minimum of five <br />(5) feet. This requirement does not render inoperative any <br />other requirements specified herein and additional ground <br />water protection must be provided. <br /> <br />Dumping of industrial solid waste must be limited to as small <br />an area as practicable and with appropriate facilities to confine <br />'windblown material within the area. At the conclusion of each <br />day of operation, all wind-blown material resulting from the <br />operation must be collected and returned to the area by the <br />owner or operator. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Industrial solid waste must be compacted as densely as <br />practicable and covered after each day of operation, or as <br /> <br />9-120 <br /> <br />111 <br /> <br /> <br />
