iv. The distance fi~om the. building wall to the signboard <br /> shall not exceed six inches. <br /> <br />v. The width of the signboard shall not exceed three feet. <br /> <br />vi. Limited to one sign per business. Projecting signs are <br /> not permitted in conjunction with wall-mounted, flee <br /> standing, or applied letter signs. <br /> <br />vii. Granted to ground floor commercial uses only. <br /> <br />Awning signs, for ground floor uses only, provided that the <br />following standards are met: <br /> <br />If acting a the main business sign, it shall not exceed <br />twenty-four square feet in area, and the height of the <br />lettering, numbers, or graphics shall not exceed twelve <br />inches. <br /> <br />ii. <br /> <br />If acting a an auxiliary business sign, it shall be located <br />on the valance only, shall not exceed four square feet in <br />area, and the height of the lettering, numbers, or <br />graphics shall not exceed four inches. <br /> <br />iii. Limited to two such signs per business <br /> <br />iv. If acting as the main business sign, it shall not be in <br /> addition to a wall-mounted or applied letter sign. <br /> <br />Window or door signs, provided that the following <br />standards are met: <br /> <br />i. The sign shall not exceed ten percent of the window or <br /> door area or four square feet, whichever is less. <br /> <br />ii. <br /> <br />The sign shall be silk screened, hand painted, applied <br />letters/graphics, neon tubing or other sign technologies <br />that meet these standards. <br /> <br />iii. Limited to one sign per business, applied on either the <br /> window or the door, but not on both. <br /> <br />iv.
