CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 10, 2003, at the Ramsey <br />Fire Station Number I, 15050 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Patti Kurak <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman ' <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Associate Planner Megan Wald <br />Principal City Engineer Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:10 p.m. and called <br />upon Councilmember Pearson to lead in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that the Lions Picnic held on June 7th was a good success. He thanked the <br />Ramsey Lions for providing the event. <br /> <br />Erik Zach, 6521 154th Avenue NW, Ramsey, stated that earlier in the work session the Council <br />talked about a planting proposal. He suggested that staff look at the Seattle area Peat Patch <br />Program that has been very successful. He stated that the City might have a problem with the <br />settlement contract for #116 because it is a voluntary contract and suggested that the City <br />Attorney review the information he provided. In the May 13, 2003 meeting minutes it was not <br />clear if a date was set for the PACT Charter School and inquired if a date had been set. <br /> <br />City Council/June 10, 2003 <br /> Page 3 of 24 <br /> <br />P53 <br /> <br /> <br />
