PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />CASE <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR AN INTERIM USE PERMIT TO ALLOW FOR AN UNIMPROVED <br />PARKING LOT, OUTDOOR STORAGE, AND THE USE OF AN EXISTING BUILDING <br />FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES; <br /> CASE OF ANOKA TECHNICAL COLLEGE <br /> By: Patrick Trudgeon, AICP, Assistant Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Anoka Technical College has submitted an application for an Interim Use Permit to allow for an <br />unimproved parking lot to be used as overflow parking, outdoor storage ofveh/cles, and the use of <br />an existing building for education purposes on the former ICO gas station property on Hwy. 10. <br />The property itself is located on the north side. of Highway 10 at the Anoka-Ramsey border. The <br />applicant has asked that no action be taken at this time on the reques~ due to scheduling conflicts and <br />further discussion needed with City Staff. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Anoka Technical College's request for an Interim Use Permit be tabled <br />and the public hearing be continued to the August 7, 2003 Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to table the applicant's request for an Interim Use Permit and continue the public hearing to <br />August 7, 2003 Planning Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />PC: 07/10/03 <br /> <br /> <br />
