WHEREAS, the City finds that based on established zoning principals, a gradual <br />increase in density leads to compatibility among areas with different land use designations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has determined that a land use designation of medium density <br />residential is compatible with surrounding land uses. <br /> <br />NOW TttEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TI~ CITY COUNCIL OF TELE CITY OF <br />tL&MSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF M:INNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves changing the land use designation of the <br /> Subject Property from Commercial to Medium Density Residential. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes City Staff to submit the necessary <br />documentation to Metropolitan Council for an amendment to the 2001 Comprehensive Plan <br />to designate the Subject Property as medium density residential. <br /> <br />3) That this land use change shall become effective concurrent with the City's receipt of <br /> notification of approval from Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />· .. this the day of ,2002. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />-62- <br /> '~02 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #02-01- <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
