As I have said many times, we ': '
know the safest option for all students that have been afforded bus service in the past is to.
'continue riding the school bus. We can not gdarantee a safe walk route to school. The
attached map identifies the most obvious problems and 'our attempts toirnitigate the ..
danger in high traffic areas. .- '

The pink lines are the suggested walk routes. £xisfing crossing guards (il'any) are the
circles, circles with an iT" are new crossing, guard~ositions. We have not filled all the
crossing guard openings that this map may identify. We desperately need your help to
locate iridividuals. If you~Mentify additional locations that you feel~ need adult
supervision; .it will be necessary to also suggest individuals to fill those positions. ?lease
call or-e-mail me as so·on as possible aiSer receiving this 'map.. Our goal is to posg'a final
version of all maps on the web-site and return them to your school by Friday, March 18
or as soon as possible.

Thank you, for your help!

-40-
