The following dates and locations were decided: July meeting will be at River's Bend; August <br />meeting will be at Elmcrest Park; September meeting will be held at Cottonwood; and the <br />October meeting will tentatively be held at the Fire Station. <br /> <br />Case #10 Canter Addition <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated this is essentially an administrative subdivision, or lot <br />split. A new lot is being created, and there is no park in the area. He suggested the Park <br />Dedication and Trail Fees be satisfied by cash payment.. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaMere, seconded by Cornm/ssioner Olds to recommend Park <br />Dedication and Trail Fees be satisfied by cash payment. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Vice Chair Johns, Commissioners LaMere, Olds, Shryock, and <br />Rolfe. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Cook, Commissioner Ostrum. <br /> <br />COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />· Note: Report on ElmcrestPark <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos noted this project is progressing well. The bids came in less than <br />the estimate. He stated Staff installed a culvert and grading began one week late due to the <br />snowstorm. The contractors are having some difficulty due to the wetness, but are still on <br />schedule. He said the electrical specifications are done and the well company began work a week <br />ago. He explained any dollar savings must be used for putting in an entrance to the park. <br /> <br />· Note: Report on Master Trail Plan <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos noted no formal progress has been made. He stated a LCMR <br />Proposal has been made, It was planned this issue would be presented at neighborhood meetings <br />at this time. He said he is involved providing monies for voluntary land acquisitions. He said <br />Staff is monitoring the legislative process for their level of interest. He noted additional <br />meetings will be scheduled and commissioners will be requested to be as' present as possible. He <br />said he wants to ensure the Staff and Commission are perceiving the needs correctly. He <br />indicated external monies are important to this process. <br /> <br />· Note: Report on River's Bend Park Improvements <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos reported the irrigation project is substantially in the ground. He <br />said the City Council approved a conversion to provide irrigation for Solstice Park. <br /> <br />· Note: Sunfish Business Park Dedication <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated this was a City project, and was an attachment to the <br />March case.
