Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos said it wasn't, but explained the magnitude of sending out or <br />publishing the Request for Bids outside of the City. <br /> <br />Commissioner Rolfe suggested the deadline be changed to April 27, at the end of the Expo. A <br />box with a picture of the equipment could be on display and the box could serve as a receptacle <br />for the bids. The Commissioners 'agreed to this suggestion. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos suggested the deadline be extended in the event bidders need to <br />discuss the issue with spouses, etc. The deadline will be April 30 at 5:00 p.m. There is no <br />minimum bid amount. <br /> <br />Case #9 <br /> <br />Identify Outdoor Meeting Schedule <br /> <br />Vice Chair Johns mentioned the Horse Care Board would like to meet with the Park and <br />Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos explained residents are .asking what the plan is for Traprock Park <br />Riding Arena. There has not been substantial improvements and maintenance to the park. The <br />Horse Care Board would like to jointly meet to decide what to do with the structures at this park. <br />He suggested the Commission meet at Traprock with the Horse Care Board, and then move to the <br />Fire Station for development considerations. <br /> <br />Commissioner Shryock suggested each Commissioner visit Traprock prior to the May 2 meeting, <br />and then hold the meeting at the Fire Station since the Commission will have other issues to <br />discuss. <br /> <br />It was decided to meet at the Fire Station for the May meeting. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated the City Council would like a joint meeting with the Park <br />and Recreation Commission. He suggested the June meeting be the joint meeting, and be held at <br />Central Park. The tour could be part of the meeting. <br /> <br />Commissioner LaMere. suggested the June meeting start earlier due to the tour. <br /> <br />It was decided the June meeting will start at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated he will check with Administrative Services to confirm the <br />start time with the Councilmembers. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaMere, seconded by Commissioner Rolf to invite and schedule a joint <br />City Council meeting and tour during the month of June on June 13 at Central Park at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chair Johns, Commissioners LaMere, Olds, Shryock, and <br />Rolfe. Voting No: None.
