To: Park and Recreation Commission

From: Mark Boos

Date: August 9, 2002

Re-'

August 15, 2002 Regular meeting

The purpose of this memo is to review the agenda prior to next week's dissemination of
the agenda. It should be noted that the Planning Commission Meeting has also been
pushed back in the month to a date to be determined. The following is a draft agenda (no
order) with a brief narrative:

, Rivenwick Third Addition

This plat is the Townhome site the commission provided general comment on in July.
It is not expected that there will be any new considerations on this plat, or with the
Commissions consensus Park Dedication or Trail Fee recommendations. Anoka
County Parks has been asked to provide their comments before Thursday if possible.

White Oak Addition

This project was also reviewed last month at Sketch Plan - then referred to as the
Wurm - Paumen Subdivision. The Developer was to meet with Staff to locate a trail
route through the plat. This has not occurred, however, there is now a meeting
scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on August 13t~z.

, BrightKEYS

The Commission only briefly discussed this project conceptually in the past. The
proposal now at Sketch Plan phase is for Townhomes north of Co. Rd. #116, west of
the existing single family homes by Co. Rd. #56.

Villas of Meadow Point

This plat has recived Sketch Plan approval recommendation by the Planning
Commission. The project is again Townhomes, with the units being centered between
the existing single family homes, north of Alpine Drive, and between Sunfish and
Ramsey Boulevards.

2003 - 2007 Parks Capital Improvements Program (CIP)

Staff was asked to prepare cost estimates on several Capital Improvements. They are
a trail from Trott Brook Cemetery to Elmcrest, a trail along Sunfish Lake Boulevard,
Paving of the rinks at Central and an irrigation system for Central's new entrance.
