It is likely that all of the remaining meetings will <br />be held at the Park Center Building at Central Park. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Commission was to reschedule the Forum to .October 1'7, 2002. <br /> <br />Commissioner Johns asked what group "C" meant at the special meeting. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos discussed this with the Commission. He stated there would be a <br />lot of decisions the Commission will need to make regarding the Master Trail Plan. <br /> <br />COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />Note: November Park and Recreation Commission Joint Meeting with Horse Care Board <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated they would be meeting with the Horse Care Board on <br />November 14, 2002. <br /> <br />Note: Update on Rivenwick 3rd <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated thai at the last meeting the Commission had some <br />decisions regarding Rivenwick 3rd and he told the Comm/ssion he would get back to them <br />regarding this but he has not been able to do this. He explained they would be potentially <br />starting at Riverdale Park with a small phase because the developer has been busy with other <br />things. He stated nothing has happened. <br /> <br />Note: Town Center Task Force <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated he was at the Town Center Task Force meeting tonight <br />and he showed the Commission a map. He explained he had told the Task Force that they need <br />to start looking at the open space of the project and decide what the size, shape and intended use <br />of it would be. He stated the plan is a concept plan and wondered if it is a good idea for <br />everyone to cross the road to get to the park. Parks/utilities Supervisor Boos stated he thought <br />the Commission should start getting involved and making recommendations before it was too <br />late. <br /> <br />Chairperson Cook stated there would be several meetings with the public and the developer. <br />This is nothing like the developer wants to do and it is not going to be that aspect. He stated they <br />want to develop a lake in the middle of the development for recreation.
