it is determined that Kory A. Bannerman has an interest in the business contrary to the provision <br />of City Code section 7..52.10, by virtue of'his interest in the Ramsey JR Partners II, Inc. on-sale <br />liquor license. <br /> <br />Motion camed. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Karak, Zimmerman, Anderson, <br />and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #10: <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of an Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Lot 4, Block 1, <br />Gateway North Industrial Park 5 <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that the City has agreed to enter into a TIF agreement with <br />Lundeen Holdings, LLC. As a part of the transaction, the City is to convey title to Lot 4, Block <br />.1, Gateway North..Industrial Park No. 5' to Lundeen, LLC.' In order to complete this sale <br />transaction, an ordinance needs to be adopted authorizing the sale. The sale ordinance was <br />introduced at the Council's August 14, 2001 meeting, and that ordinance is eligible for adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to adopt <br />Ordinance #0l-19 authorizing the conveyance of Lot 4, Block 1, Gateway North Industrial Park <br />No. 5. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was perlbrmed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson: aye <br />Councilmember Kurak aye <br />Councilmember Zimmerman aye <br />Courmilmember Hendriksen aye <br />Mayor Gamec aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #11: <br /> <br />Review Facilitator-Led Comprehensive Plan Negotiations and Consider <br />Continuation of Talks. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that the City contracted with a facilitator earlier tl].is spring to <br />assist the City with major issues such as the Comprehensive Plan and Density Transition. Larry <br />Baldcen has been working with the City Council, both individually and in Council work sessions <br />to resolve a number of issues surrounding the Comprehensive Plan and Density Transition. At <br />the most recent work session, held on August 16, 2001, the facilitator agreed to forward a <br />progress report to the City Council for formal consideration. A report by Mr. Bakken is being <br />prepared and will be distr/buted to the Council prior to the meeting. At the Council work session <br />of August 16, 2001, there appeared to be a major/ty of Councilmembers willing to continue the <br />talks in order to achieve an eventual compromise on the issues being discussed.
