CASE #4 <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE 2002.2006 PARKS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN <br /> By: Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Supervisor <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The attached public hearing notice was advertised in the Anoka County Union on September 28, <br />2001. As the Commission will recall, the Draft 5-Year Plan was revised and tentatively <br />approved at the September 20t~, 2001 meeting. The revised ledger and accompanying narrative is <br />attached. <br /> <br />The procedure to conduct a public hearing is as follows: Close the regular Park and Recreation <br />Commission meeting. Call the public hearing to order and ask for citizen comment. Note the <br />input and close the public hearing. If there is no input, also close the public hearing. Call the <br />regular meeting back to order and discuss the comments received. If no comments were <br />received, and' the Commis6'ion is comfortable with the C.I.?., they may then take action. <br /> <br />City Council is expected to schedule a Workshop to review all the proposed capital <br />improvements identified in the City wide, 5-year plan. This meeting may occur as early as <br />November.
