CASE #: 4 <br /> <br /> CENTRAL PARK'S SIGNAGE AND ENTRY PROJECT <br /> By: Mark Boos, Parks &Utilities Supervisor <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As the Commission will recall, City Council received the proposal for Central Park's signage and <br />entrance project earlier this year. The direction to the Commission was to revise the plan in terms of the <br />cost, identify a funding source and possibly eliminate the water feature. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The original suggestion was for this landscape and signage project to be substantially complete by the <br />2001 Community Picnic. This may no longer be reasonable, however, the Game Fair may be a target <br />date. The purpose of this case is to revisit the project.
