CASE # 6 <br /> <br /> PROPOSED CROSSWALK BETWEEN 150TM LANE AND SUNWOOD DRIVE <br /> By: Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Supervisor <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />During August's Public Works Committee meeting, the question came up as to whether there <br />should be an additional crosswalk between the one associated with the school at 150th Lane, and <br />the other existing crosswalk at Sunwood Drive. The location would be at 148th Lane - in line <br />with the cu de sac trail connection on the East Side of County Road 5. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />These two crosswalks are approximately 1900' apart, with a trail on the West Side of County <br />Road 5 connecting the two. It is not known if the County would permit three crosswalks in this <br />same vicinity. Because City Council's Public Works Committee requested that the issue be <br />addressed, the Commission should make a formal recommendation on this matter.
