I! PatricX trudgeon - Proposed Comprenens~v~ ~=la~ i~;: '~'~';~;' ................................................................................................................................. ~'¥:;':;"-'~':';:1

From:
To:
Date:
Subject:

"Ron & Judy Hunt" <reh1~wwdb.org>
<ptrudgeon(~ ci.ra ms..ey.mn, us>
08/24/20~1 8:23AM
Proposed Comprehensive Plan for Ramsey

RESIDENTINPUT SHEET

Name: Judy Hunt
Address: 17455 Nowthen Blvd.
Phone: 763-753-4403

Comments:

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THE PLAN: Centralized shopping and "Downtown" area along Highway 10
Corridor with possible rapid transit line in the future. I didn't notice-but hope there will be a frontage road
so Hwy. 10 doesn't became one long string of traffic lights (which is already happening). Also, a bddge
across the Mississippi there is tong overdue.

WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THE PLAN: There should not be ANY "4-in-40" restrictions on land
development. This is discrimination against those farmers who have struggled to hang onto .their land
until the value has increased to provide for their retirement. Ramsey has more than enough parks and
undevelopabte land to have plenty of green space without penalizing a few landowners. The proposed '
allotments for housing development are not even remotely logical if you actually know these lands.
Please don't allow people to make decisions by just looking at a map. They need to come out here and
see the land for themselves.

GENE;RAL COMMENTS: t appreciate your hard work in trying to serve the public. Much of what you do,
I know, just earns you criticism. Thank you for listening and for cadng.

-162-
182
