In addition the church provides a wide range of other services to its members <br />and the community. <br /> <br />· Child Care provides quality care, on demand, at times when regular <br /> nursery care is not available for a nominal fee. <br />· Food Services provides quality meals for events, and anticipates providing <br /> them to seniors as well. <br />· Nurser,/Services are offered during the Saturday evening and Sunday <br /> morning services. <br />· Lord of Life's Social Justice Ministry Social Justice Ministry has a four fold <br /> purpose: <br /> o To perform acts of mercy. <br /> o To provide educational opportunities related'to social issues. <br /> o To involve the congregation in appropriate public advocacy. <br /> o To act as a catalyst bringing action within our congregation and <br /> motivating our people to organize and to work for,social change. <br />· The Stephen Ministry is committed to providing a one-to-one caring <br /> ministry to persons in need. <br /> <br />Life Memorial Gardens <br /> <br />Part of Lord of Life's vision is to expand Life Memorial Gardens to include <br />a variety of burial options including traditional lawn burials, mausoleum <br />entombment, and granite niches. The church hopes to minister to people <br />at times of loss by providing a beautiful, peaceful resting place, in the <br />noblest tradition of the world's greatest church memorial gardens - a place <br />of inspiration easily and often visited by family, friends, and revered <br />visitors to Lord of Life. <br /> <br />Life Memodal Gardens is organized as a non-profit corporation. Its Board <br />of Directors is directly accountable to Lord of Life's Board of Directors. <br />The memorial gardens are in the planning stages. At the current time the <br />church' is working with a consultant to design a garden area on the south <br />end of'the property that will provide for the members needs. It is intend <br />that the gardens will be developed in stages based on need and <br />resources. <br /> <br />Life Viilag~ <br /> <br />Life Village will be a non-profit organization that will own 2 facilities located on the <br />campus of Lord of Life Church. The facilities are designed to provide a senior <br />housing alterative for members of the community who live independently but <br /> <br /> <br />
