Motion by Commissioner Ostrum, seconded by Commissioner Rolfe to remove the boards and <br />start over with the building. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Johns, Commissioners Ostrum, Rolfe, LaMere, Olds', <br />and Shryock. Voting No: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Commissioner Olds asked if they Could try to sell the boards. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated he thought the value may not be worth the investment in <br />salvage and time. <br /> <br />Case #5: Disseminate 2003 - 2007 C.I.P. Request Worksheets <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos indicated attached to the Commissions information packet is the <br />Park Commissions Capital Improvement request in the City's worksheet format. <br /> <br />At this time the 2003 Capital Improvement Program is scheduled to be disseminated for <br />discussion at City Councils January 14, 2003 meeting. It is expected that a thorough examination <br />of the C.I.P. and approval will occur shortly thereafter. <br /> <br />Case #6: Lawful Gambling Improvement Program <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated that each year in January, the Commission calls for <br />projects that may be suitable for the Lawful Gambling Improvement Program matching program. <br />The rate is around four to five thousand dollars and is used as an opportunity for any residents to <br />be able to match labor or cash to cause open space improvements in the City. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns described the program. <br /> <br />Commissioner Rolfe asked if they could have this posted on Cable TV to promote this program. <br /> <br />COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT <br /> <br /> · Note: Discuss a Master Plan for Elmcrest Park <br /> · Note: Discuss Draft Master Trail Plan <br /> <br />Mr. Tom Ramberg, 5620 156th Circle asked with all the developments coming in, is there any <br />types of consideration for kids in the teen age group for activities. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns stated they have a skate park in their CIP for 2006. <br /> <br />Mr. Ramberg stated he would like to be involved with any of the activities. <br /> <br /> Park and Recreation Commission/January 9, 2003 <br /> Page 8 of 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
