CASE # 2 <br /> <br />RECEIVE SKETCH PLAN FOR RAMSEY TOWN CENTER AND SCHEDULE <br />SPECIAL MEETING FOR ADDRESSING PARK AND TRAIL ISSUES <br /> By: Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Supervisor <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As the Commission is aware, the developers representatives continue to meet with Staff <br />to improve and refine Yarious concepts and design issues necessary for planning a mixed- <br />use project of this scope. <br /> <br />A Sketch Plan has been received by the Planning Commission at their May meeting and <br />was tabled, with th& expectation that it will be reviewed at a Work Session by City <br />Council. <br /> <br />ObserVations: <br /> <br />The purpose of this case is to receive the Sketch Plan and schedule a special meeting to <br />provide recommendations on park, trail, and open space needs for the Town Center site. <br />Staff is proposing Thursday May 15th, 2003 as that date. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that the Commission become familiar with the attached Planning <br />Commission case and attachments in advance of the special meeting.
