Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos discussed the information with the Commission. <br />Commissioner Ostrum asked if they have looked at this before. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated they have talked about this as part of Central Park entrance <br />improvement project. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johns asked if this included drinking fountains or just irrigation. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated they try to break out the project in a number of different <br />ways so they have options. <br /> <br />Commissioner Ostrum asked if he was proposing a bid on those options. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos replied this is exactly what is occurring. <br /> <br />Commissioner Rolfe asked if they would be installing a new system or adding onto the existing <br />system. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos stated the existing system is over taxed and they would derive <br />the water source form the warming house well. <br /> <br />Commissioner Rolfe asked if they could use this system to help relieve some of the over taxing <br />of the other system. <br /> <br />Parks/Utilities Supervisor Boos replied not really. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Olds, seconded by Commissioner Shryock to continue submitting <br />quotes on the irrigation project. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Johns, Commissioners Olds, Shryock, LaMere, <br />Ostrum, and Rolfe. Voting No: None. He also wanted to know how he could get involved in the City to help keep <br />kids involved in activities and out of trouble.
