PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, December 5, 1995 at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to hear <br />input regarding a request for preliminary plat approval of Northfork Itasca Shores; case of North <br />Fork, Inc. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Ben Deemer <br />Commissioner Terry Hendriksen <br />Commissxoner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Bradley Thomd <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden called the public hearing to order at 7:45 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that North Fork, Inc. is requesting preliminary plat approval of <br />Northfork Itasca Shores, another portion of the Northfork P.U.D. located southwest of Lake <br />Itasca. The plat consists of 11 single family lots. Ms. Frolik noted that due to the length of the <br />cul-de-sac, City Staff is recommending approval of same with a landscaped center island <br />constructed in the bubble to facilitate the movement of larger vehicles to the cul-de-sac bubble and <br />around the center island and back out of the neighborhood again without the need for stopping and <br />backing up to achieve the radius necessary to exit the area. <br /> <br />Dennis Peck, Director of Development for North Fork, Inc., outlined the proposed trail corridor. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden, Commissioners Holland, Deemer, <br />Hendriksen, LaDue, Terry, and Thorud. Voting No: None.
