Mr. Gromberg reported that Commissioner Ullen contacted him to say that she would not be able
to work at the Game Fair due to a prior commitment. Commissioner Stafki said that he would also
be unable to attend due to his work schedule. Chairperson Wagner stated that he would work the
morning of Friday, August 18th. Commissioner Kent said that he would check his schedule, but
he thought that Friday morning would also work. Commissioner Nelson stated that she would
check her schedule, but would probably not be able to make it.

The general consensus of the EDC was that Mr. Gromberg should assure proper scheduling for the
booth and "to have a lot of fun being at the Game Fair".

COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT

Mr. Gromberg provided the following items for Commission input:

1)

The City Council has requested a meeting with each of the Commissions to discuss any
issues of concern to either group. The consensus of the EDC was to suggest either the
September or October meeting for this discussion.

2)

The covenants for the industrial park will be reviewed by the City Council at their next
meeting. As discussed at our review, the Architectural Review Board would be made up of
the Economic Development Commission and two property owners. The EDC will be
updated at their next meeting as to the City Council's decision.

3)

Future ground breakings: The City will be scheduling the ground breakings for at least
three facilities during September and/or October. The EDC members should provide staff
with the general times that will work best for these events.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Commissioner Nelson and seconded by Commissioner Kent to adjourn the meeting of
the Economic Development Commission.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Wagner, Commissioners Stafki, Kent, and Nelson.
Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Ullen, Marquart, and McGhee.

The regular meeting of the Economic Development Commission adjourned at 7:35 p.m.

Respe~
~(~ro~g "XCEconomic DeveloiSYne~wCoordinator

Economic Development Commission/August 3, 1995
Page 3 of 3
