Mayor Hardin stated he did not have a problem recommending a higher levy as long as <br />there is opportunity to discuss it further. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to recommend Council <br />adopt the resolution approving the Proposed Maximum 1995, Payable 1995, Tax Levy, at <br />a 2.7% increase and to Schedule the Budget Public Hearing Dates for November 29, 1995, <br />at 7:00 p.m. and, if necessary, on December 6, 1995, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beyer, Beahen, Peterson <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer suggested that any cuts in staff should first be reviewed by the <br />Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer, Peterson <br />and Zimmerman.
