MN 55011 <br /> <br />Phone: Day: 422-5197 Evening: 434-4434 <br /> <br />Qualifying Criteria <br /> <br />Please provide a yes or no, or a brief explanation to the following statements. <br /> <br />1. The project dearly and primarily benefits both youth and/or identified park. recreational and <br />natural resource needs located within Ramsey's City Limits. <br /> <br />This project will benefit youth and visitors to the Ramsey Nature Trail and <br />Wetland area. <br /> <br />2. The project has a Iow degree of safety liability and is Iow maintenance or that which is commonly <br />associated with recreation and parks. <br /> <br />There are no inherent safety problems. If some arise, they will be promptly <br />accommodated by the School District. <br /> <br />3. The project is not more appropriately funded by another source. Please list any other potential <br />funder. <br /> Ramsey School has limited resources. We depend upon our Parent PTA for assistance in <br />fund raising. They have already committed funds to the purchase of books and technology <br />equipment to support the RELA. We do not have any current means of funding this project. The <br />Anoka- Hennepin School District has supported the project to date by providing equipment and <br />labor which we did not have available. Our students and parents have provided excellent support <br />with equipment and labor to date on previous aspects of the project. <br /> <br />4. The applicant or their representative will appear before the Park and Recreation Commission at <br />a predetermined meeting ( most likely the 2nd. Thursday of February) to present their proposal and <br />answer any questions. <br /> <br />5. A fifty-fifty match of dollars or labor at the current volunteer rate is required by the applicant and <br />must be detailed in the budget. (The 1995 volunteer hourly rate is $7.00) <br /> <br /> <br />
