Mr. Pearson replied he did not post it this year; however, he posted it last year and snowmobilers knocked the signs down. Councilmember Beyer stated if she has to, she would work to ban snowmobiling completely. Mr. Pearson agreed that maybe that is what has to be done. Council directed Staff to place an item for discussion on the next Council agenda regarding snowmobiling. Councilmember Beyer stated it is unfortunate this has to happen every year; it's sad that there is blatant disregard for private property. 3 ) Junk Vehicles Councilmember Beyer stated she had a call from a lady in the northwestern corner of the City about a parcel with many junk vehicles on it. She stated it appears the City sends letters but nothing happens and asked if the City Attorney could be directed to prosecute the offenders. Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that this is the current policy. Councilmember Beyer wondered if we have to get stricter. Mayor Hardin stated that a lot of the junk vehicles sitting on properties are licensed. Councilmember Beyer suggested looking at the code again and maybe amending it to say the vehicles have to be operable. Mayor Hardin agreed this item should be placed on the next Council agenda for discussion. 4 ) Council Workshop Council scheduled a workshop for 8:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 1995, at the Ramsey Municipal Center. 5 ) Welcome/Commendation Councilmember Beyer welcomed Councilmember Beahen to the Council and commended Mayor Hardin on a well-run meeting. 6) Thank You Councilmember Beahen thanked everyone for their kindness and help in making sure she was prepared and that she felt comfortable. Mayor Hardin expressed that Council is glad to have Ms. Beahen with them. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adjourn the meeting.
