Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #07-09-247 RESOLUTION RATIFYING CHANGE ORDERS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW RAMSEY MUNICIPAL CENTER WHEREAS, the City Council established by resolution levels of authority on May 24th, 2005, for the approval of project change orders to allow for construction to proceed while managing minor project changes; and WHEREAS, the established levels of Authority for the Construction of the new Ramsey Municipal Center are as follows: City Council approval required for change orders greater than $25,000, City Council ratification of all change orders less than $25,000, Facility Committee approval required for change orders greater than $10,000 but less than $25,000, ratification by City Council, Project Team of Heidi A. Nelson, Interim City Administrator approval required for change orders not greater than $10,000, ratification by City Council; and WHEREAS, the following change orders have been reviewed by BKV Group and 3D/I Construction Managers and have been approved by either the Facility Committee or the Project Team. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: Change Order No. 1051-06 $7,696.00 Modify channels, backcharge, revise roof edge Change Order No.1 051-07 $(2,206.54) Backcharge due to incorrect installation, . changes to opening. Change Order No. 1051-08 $1,257.00 Install steel support, to guard at windows TOTAL CHANGE ORDERS 07/10/07-08/17/07: $6,746.46 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Counci1member Olson, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Gamec Councilmember Look Counci1member Olson Councilmember Dehen Councilmember Jeffrey Councilmember Strommen and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained:
