CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 14, 1995, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Carolyn Beahen <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin called the regular meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. and led in the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Bob Peterson, 15621 Erkium Street N.W. and Marlin Perry, 16237 Kamacite Street N.W., <br />representing the Ramsey Snow Rams Snowmobile Club, stated they had a fund raiser <br />through the Minnesota United Snowmobile Association and the proceeds need to be given <br />to a charity or a non-profit organization. He presented a check for $130 to Ramsey Police <br />Chief Mike Auspos to be used for something pertaining to snowmobile patrol. <br /> <br />Chief Auspos accepted the check, thanked the Snowmobile Club, and stated that the money <br />would be put to good use. <br /> <br />Mike Norman, 8324 - 156th Lane N.W., Ramsey, asked about surfacing the roads by <br />North Fork. The charge is $57.31 over a three-year period. He wondered if that money <br />could be paid up front to avoid interest. He also stated that when he added up the amounts, <br />it didn't coincide with the number of houses. <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin informed Mr. Norman that he would be able to get his questions addressed <br />during the public hearing for his street project. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Beahen <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />City Council/February 14, 1995 <br /> Page 2 of 20 <br /> <br /> <br />
