Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to approve <br />an expenditure up to $2,000 for the appraisal for property on 142nd and T.H. #47. The <br />money will be funded out of economic development. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beyer, Zimmerman, Beahen <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: Development Agreements <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to authorize <br />acquisition of the S.J. Groves property with Attorney Goodrich to conduct the closing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beahen, Beyer <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />authorize the development agreement with Carbon Product Technology, Riverside <br />Development/Trend Scientific and Command Corporation. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to adopt <br />Resolution #95-03-057 approving contract documents and specifications and ordering <br />advertisement for bids for Improvement Project//95-11 (Construction of Uranium Street <br />N.W. and McKinley Street N.W. and the extension of sanitary sewer and municipal water <br />services. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beahen, Beyer <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that the project Council authorized is proposed to be <br />split four ways. This road right-of-way would be moved to avoid some trees. We need to <br />initiate the subdivision process. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to initiate <br />the subdivision platting process. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Mr. Schroeder asked for suggestions for naming the subdivision. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case g7: Report from Finance Committee <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart reported that the Finance Committee reviewed the 1994 unaudited <br />General Fund financial report which is currently under audit. The revenue is a bit more <br />than was anticipated, creating an excess balance of about $74,000. No action was <br />necessary.
