Absent: Mayor Hardin. <br /> <br />4) Organizational Chart <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder stated that the Committee briefly discussed the Organizational Chart. It will <br />be brought back for review in July. No action is required by Council, however, Council is <br />invited to submit input for the chart prior to the meeting. <br /> <br />5) Job Descriptions <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder reported that amendments to the job descriptions for the Police Records <br />Manager and the Police Technician were submitted to the Personnel Committee. They <br />recommended approval of same. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to approve the <br />amended job descriptions for the Police Records Manager and the Police Technician. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Beyer, Beahen, Peterson and Zimmerman. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Hardin. <br /> <br />6) Comprehensive Plan Concerns <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to direct the <br />City Administrator to thank the three Commissions for their assistance through this process <br />and also the three Planning Commissioners for their additional input, with a summary of <br />status and future direction which includes setting a City Council and Commission <br />workshop in order to improve the working relationships. The meetings should be <br />scheduled individually with the commissions. The suggestion was to have one meeting in <br />July, one in August and one in September. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Mayor Hardin. <br /> <br />Case #8: Adopt Resolution Receiving Report and Calling a Public <br /> hearing on Improvement Project #95-14 (Municipal Sanitary <br /> Sewer and Water Extension to Haubrich Addition <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated his reason for pulling this item off the Consent Agenda <br />and placing it on the regular agenda is because he voted against these projects before. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro tern Peterson explained to Councilmember Zimmerman that adopting this <br />resolution is only granting the residents of Haubrich Addition the right to a public hearing. <br />He inquired if Councilmember Zimmerman didn't want to give them the chance to even <br />have a public hearing. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman replied no. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Pro tem Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to adopt the <br />resolution receiving report and calling a public hearing on Improvement Project #95-14 <br />(Municipal sanitary sewer and water extension to Haubrich Addition). <br /> <br />Motion failed. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Peterson and Beahen. Voting No: <br />Councilmembers Beyer and Zimmerman.
