(Ramsey) Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />request that Short, Elliot, Hendrickson provide a proposal to expand the traffic study area to <br />include Sunfish Lake Boulevard in Ramsey, including traffic from the future Anoka Electric <br />Cooperative Energy Business Park. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Beyer, Zimmerman, Beahen and <br />Peterson. Absent: Councilmember Mann. <br /> <br />7) Update on Animal Containment Facility <br /> <br />Anoka City Manager Nagel provided a brief update on the animal containment facility. By <br />consensus, both Councils support continuing to work together on this issue. <br /> <br />8) Follow-Up Meeting/Issues <br /> <br />Anoka Mayor Beberg expressed a desire to continue working together on the industrial park and <br />other issues. He further asked that a follow-up meeting be scheduled for August or September. <br /> <br />Ramsey Mayor Hardin stated a need to work on transportation issues as well in order to plan for <br />the future. <br /> <br />9) Lower Rum River Water Management Organization Joint Powers Agreement <br /> <br />Anoka Councilmember Weaver thanked the Ramsey Council for their efforts to pass upon the <br />compromise Lower Rum River Water Management Organization Joint Powers Agreement. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m. <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br />~yan R.
