Mr. Herrmann asked that a minimum date be set before which operation cannot occur. <br /> <br />Chief Auspos asked how about a minimum of snow inches. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beahen to amend the <br />ordinance to not allow operation prior to December 1. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beahen, Beyer and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer suggested looking at entry signs to the City that state rules for <br />snowmobiling. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Mayor Hardin for staff to come back with <br />recommendations on how to deal with grass and pavement damage. <br /> <br />Motion failed. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin and Councilmember Beahen. Voting No: <br />Councilmembers Beyer, Peterson and Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer suggested City crews could do repair work. <br /> <br />Mayor Hardin felt that this is not the obligation of the tax payer. <br /> <br />Mr. Courteau suggested disallowing riding in the ditches. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to have the Parks <br />Coordinator work with Bob Peterson on designating trail heads within 30 days. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Zimmerman commented that that's our long range plan - we <br />need to expend more energy on that. Councilmember Peterson stated that, once we've done that, <br />we still need to make allowances. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beahen, Beyer and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson stated that the message needs to get out that we need to work together. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Introduce Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Lots 1, 2, 3, Block 1, Business <br />Park 95 <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder explained that on April 25, 1995, the City Council introduced and <br />subsequently adopted an ordinance authorizing the sale of certain lots created in the Business <br />Park 95 Addition. The formally approved ordinance contained incorrect legal descriptions for <br />the parcels to be sold.
