Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Pearson, Cook, Elvig, Kurak, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />The public hearing closed at 7:28 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Action <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the City Council was called back to order at 7:28 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak inquired if they would be vacating easements and then rededicating the <br />easement along the new property line. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik replied yes. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if the parcel was going to be platted. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Frolik explained that there has been some speculation that <br />they may request a zoning change to residential to create three urban residential lots. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to introduce an ordinance <br />to vacate the five foot drainage and utility easement on the westerly 200 feet of Lot 1, Block 1, <br />Riverview Bowl. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Cook, Elvig, Kurak, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Consider Execution of Business Subsidy Agreement with L <br />and D Properties, LLC. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that recently a development agreement with L and D <br />Properties (dba Precise Metalcraft) has been negotiated with City staff. The project includes the <br />construction of a 10,500 square foot office/warehouse building in the Summer of 2003. The <br />building will be located in West Radium Business Center First Addition south of the H & P <br />Properties building. It is anticipated that the project will create at least three new jobs paying a <br /> <br />City Council/July 8, 2003 <br /> Page 7 of 30 <br /> <br /> <br />
