Citizen Input There was none. Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Pearson, Cook, Elvig, Kurak, Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. The public hearing closed at 7:28 p.m. Council Action The regular meeting of the City Council was called back to order at 7:28 p.m. Councilmember Kurak inquired if they would be vacating easements and then rededicating the easement along the new property line. Community Development Director Frolik replied yes. Councilmember Zimmerman inquired if the parcel was going to be platted. Community Development Director Frolik explained that there has been some speculation that they may request a zoning change to residential to create three urban residential lots. Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to introduce an ordinance to vacate the five foot drainage and utility easement on the westerly 200 feet of Lot 1, Block 1, Riverview Bowl. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Cook, Elvig, Kurak, Pearson, Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Case #3: Public Hearing: Consider Execution of Business Subsidy Agreement with L and D Properties, LLC. Mayor Gamec called the public hearing to order at 7:30 p.m. Presentation City Administrator Norman stated that recently a development agreement with L and D Properties (dba Precise Metalcraft) has been negotiated with City staff. The project includes the construction of a 10,500 square foot office/warehouse building in the Summer of 2003. The building will be located in West Radium Business Center First Addition south of the H & P Properties building. It is anticipated that the project will create at least three new jobs paying a City Council/July 8, 2003 Page 7 of 30
