Chairperson Steffen added that the Charter Commission should interview the candidates following the 1994 election. He felt this would give the Commission insight into the issues being discussed. Motion by Commissioner Marn and seconded by Commissioner Nelson that the Charter Commission would not affect a change for the 1994 election with regard to at large versus a ward system, terms of the Mayor, Primary Elections, and the filing requirements. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Donovan, Kiefer, Spain-Brist Commissioner Goode. Chairperson Steffen, Commissioners Marn, Nelson, and Swokowski. Voting No: None. Absent: Commi~ion Input: 1) Next Meeting Chairperson Steffen stated that the next meeting would be held on Thursday, July 21, 1994, providing there were items for discussion. He invited the Commission to submit any suggestions for discussion to the Recording Secretary prior to the next meeting. Commissioner Nelson suggested discussing the parameters for interviewing the 1994 candidates. 2 ) Charter City Admi~ 'nistrator Schroeder noted that the Commission had just received an updated copy of the Ctty Charter. He asked them to review it and to pay particular attention to the Chapter dealing with public improvements. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Commissioner Netzloff and seconded by Commissioner Swokowski to adjourn the meting. Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairperson Steffen, Commissioners Netzloff, Swokowski, Donovan, Kiefer, Marn, Nelson and Spain-Brist. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Goode.
