Rd. 116 as the city wide east-west collector roadway north of TH-10. <br /> <br />To meet all federal, state and regional govemmem requirements in locating and constructing <br />the Mississippi River Bridge. <br /> <br />To minimize the potential impact any Mississippi River bridge crossing my have on the <br />natural and built environments. <br /> <br /> City of Ramsey <br />Proposed Criteria for Mississippi River Bridge <br /> <br />Any M/ssissippi River bridge crossing should attempt to minimize the environmental impacts <br />on the Mississippi River st:ecifically and its surrotmciing environs and "built environment" in <br />general. <br /> <br />Any Mississippi River bridge crossing should minimize the need for Right-Of-Way (ROW) <br />acquisition. <br /> <br />Any Mississippi River bridge crossing should minimize the potential to impact the exSsting <br />raikoad corridor. <br /> <br />Any Mississippi River bridge crossing should minimize impact on e.-dsting rexidential <br />neighborhoods. <br /> <br />Any Mississippi River bridge crossing should terminate at an east-west collector road in the <br />City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Any Mississippi River bridge crossing should be built from a source of mulfijurisdictional <br />funds. <br /> <br />Any Mississippi River bridge crossing should attempt to incorporate a noxth frontage road <br />along TH-10. <br /> <br />Note: Discussion in April resulted in agreement that the criteria should be revised to indicate that a) <br /> a primary focus should be a bridge's effect 0n Hwy. 10 and b) development potential of lands <br /> along a bridge road should be considered a positive impact that can mitigate negative impacts. <br /> <br /> <br />
