Chairperson Wagner stated that the Economic Development Commission based their
decision on information they had at hand and that he is not aware of any other issues.

Mr. Hendriksen stated that Commissioner Ullen has stated that it's important to have a
north/south transportation system.

Commissioner Ullen suggested that when the time comes, the entire City of Ramsey will
have a chance to bring in issues of concern. She stated that as a Commission, they had
done their job.

Commissioner Kent stated he disagrees that the Planning Commissions recommendation is
different from the Economic Development Commissions recommendation. The outlook for
future growth will be on the north and east end of the City. We will need roads to
accompany this growth. The road will move the east/west traffic along County Road #116.
Traffic will go up Armstrong or Ramsey Boulevard. That's not a lot different than what
the Planning Commission brought up.

COMMISSION INPUT:

1) Anoka Electric Cooperative Joint City Sign

Economic Development Coordinator Gromberg stated that he met with Anoka Electric
Cooperative (AEC) this afternoon and they indicated they are interested in putting a sign up
that may say something like "Ramsey, new home to AEC". He reported that the
Commission still had funds left that could be spent on this joint sign project.

Commissioner Ullen inquired of the cost to which Mr. Gromberg stated he did not know
but that the Commission could put a cap limit on the amount they would contribute.
Commissioner Ullen then suggested that Mr. Gromberg research the cost and bring back
the information to the Economic Development Commission at their next meeting.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Commissioner Ullen and seconded by Commissioner Stafki to adjourn the
meeting.

Motion carded.
