Councilmember Peterson stated that residents are also invited to call the Councilmembers. <br />Councilmember Peterson then introduced Councilmember-Elect Carolyn Beahen. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson stated that Mr. Ed Thurston, or someone in the County <br />Assessor's Office, will be happy to discuss property valuation with the residents. He <br />added that if after taking this material home with you, and you have questions, just call <br />Council or Staff. We have spent a lot of time on it. He stated that Council monitors this <br />budget on a monthly basis and also that Council encourages Staff to look for money saving <br />ways to do things. <br /> <br />Ms. Hart reiterated that the white packet of information is a brief synopsis of the 1995 <br />Proposed General Fund Budget and that she maintains a detailed copy at the front counter <br />in City Hall for the public to view. She added that she is available for any questions. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson stated that City Council will act on this issue at its December 13, <br />1994 meeting. The tax statement shows an increase of 6.8 percent for the City or 5.08 <br />pement area-wide but Council is looking at the lower one of 4.58 percent area-wide or 3.93 <br />percent for the City. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beyer and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to adjourn <br />the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Beyer, Zimmerman, Hardin and Peterson. <br />Voting No: None.
