City Council regular meeting minutes dated August 22, 1994. <br /> <br />NOTE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />The Park and, Recreation Commission so notes the following: <br /> <br />1. Joint Planning Commission and Economic Development Commission meeting minutes <br /> dated September 15, 1994. <br /> <br />2. Planning Commission public hearing and regular meeting minutes dated October 4, 1994. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case /ti: <br /> <br />RECOMMEND PARK DEDICATION FOR TOWNHOUSES OF RUM <br />RIVER HILLS <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Dom presented the history of the agreements between the City and Rum River Hills <br />Development, Inc. <br /> <br />He explained that currently he and Mr. Tom Anderson are requesting preliminary plat approval for <br />12 townhouses, although there could be less than the 12 units. <br /> <br />He requested that the Commission accept a trail from the north to south end of the golf course <br />adjacent to State Highway #47 in lieu of the $8400.00 in park dedication. He explained that he is <br />willing to work with Staff to ensure a proper trail is provided. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Hetland and seconded by Commissioner Skinner to direct staff and the <br />developers to resolve the feasibility of constructing an eight-foot bituminous trail from the <br />intersection of 167th Avenue N.W. to 164th Lane N.W. to satisfy park dedication. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Hetland, Commissions Asfahl, Henn, Johns and <br />Skinner Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Cook and Florenfius. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />REVIEW PRELIMINARY DRAFT CITY OF RAMSEY PARK AND <br />TRAIL PLAN <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Smith, Biko & Associates presented the draft park and trail plan. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding aspects of the revised plan such as color changes, possibly putting <br />pictures of the various road plans along the borders of the presentation board, and whether to <br />outline the MUSA area for easier definition. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Commission was that each Commissioner is to review their respective copy of <br />the map and forward changes prior to the December meeting to Mr. Boos. <br /> <br />Park and Recreation Commission/November 10, 1994 <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
