In order to maximize dollar needs,
a nonexistent road should be designated. The two alternatives for discussion are as
follows: the extension of McKinley Street N.W. east of Sunfish Lake Drive N.W. and
north up to County Road #116 - contingent upon having state aid approve connections to a
county road; and the extension of what will be a portion of the bridge corridor from
Highway #10 to what will be Sunwood Drive N.W.

City Administrator Schroeder stated that the first alternative is more expensive and will
provide the City with more income. The deadline for recommending a change is March 1,
1994.

Consensus was to recommend to Council that both alternatives be submitted for comment.

Mayor Oilbertson arrived.

Case #1: Assessment Procedure

There was: no time to really discuss the assessment procedure.

Councilmember Zimmerman stated he is a bit reluctant to go with the proposed assessment
policy and felt that it should be left as is.

Road and Bridge Committee/February 8, 1994
Page 1 of 2
