CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, April 26, 1994, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson (Acting Mayor) <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Peterson called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:04 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Benjamin Deemer, 14501 Sunfish Lake Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, expressed concern <br />about the dandelion infestation in Hunter's Hill Park. He asked the City to consider a weed <br />treatment for the problem as the infestation is spreading to the nearby yards. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to refer <br />this issue to the Park and Recreation Commission and that if other issues such as this one <br />arises, the Park and Recreation Commission should deal with them on a case by case basis. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Zimmerman, Peterson and Hardin. Voting <br />No: None. Absent: Mayor Gilbertson and Councilmember Beyer. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Councilmembers Hardin, Zimmerman and Peterson. Voting <br />No: None. Absent: Mayor Gilbertson and Councilmember Beyer. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Hardin to <br />approve the following items on the Consent Agenda: <br /> <br />1) <br />2) <br />3) <br /> <br />Receive Public Works Monthly Report for March 1994 <br />Receive Police Department Monthly Report for March 1994 <br />Receive Fire Department Monthly Report for March 1994 <br /> <br />City Council/April 26, 1994 <br /> Page 2 of 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
