East to its
Terminus)

Councilmember Peterson adjourned the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:29
p.m. in order to conduct the public hearing.

Public Hearing

Councilmember Peterson called the public hearing to order at 7:29 p.m.

Presentation

City Engineer Jankowski stated that the proposed assessment amount for this project was
the best estimate he had at the time that notification needed to be sent. He proposed that
this assessment be decreased somewhat. There had been complaints that drives had not
been completed up to the newly paved street, so the cost of completing those drives had
been included in the above estimate. However, in reviewing the past policy, the City
Engineer believes it's appropriate not to complete those drives as this would not be
considered restoration but rather completion of the drive. Therefore, that money should not
be assessed. This reduces the assessed amount by $200 per unit.

Citizen Input

None.

Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to close
the public hearing.

Motion carried.
