Councilmember Hardin felt that it would be best to meet with Council and Department <br />Heads. <br /> <br />Mr. Schroeder stated that Staff will probably have a preference for an evening meeting as <br />opposed to a Saturday. He offered to work on scheduling the meeting. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />1) Anoka Municipal Electric Transmission Line <br /> <br />City Administrator Schroeder stated that he, along with Couneilmember Zimmerman and <br />Planning Commissioner Deemer and other City Staff, met with Anoka Municipal Electric to <br />view different transmission poles. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated that they looked at different power poles around the <br />area to see the difference between wood, steel and concrete. He stated that he and <br />Commissioner Deemer felt it would be in the best interest of the City to use steel or <br />concrete poles and that's what he would recommend. <br /> <br />2) Water Study <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that he wants the consultants to make a presentation on the <br />water study but he would prefer that Council have a chance to review the study lb:st. <br />Therefore the consultants will make a presentation at the next meeting. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hardin and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Counc~!members Hardin and Zimmerman. <br />Voting No: None.
