CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, December 13, 1994, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota <br />55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor James Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br />Councilmember Glen Hardin <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator Ryan Schroeder <br />Finance Officer Jessie Hart <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:02 p.m. and <br />led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />PRESENTATION TO FIRE CHIEF DAVID GRIFFIN <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson read and presented a plaque to Fire Chief Dave Griffin acknowledging <br />his service and dedication during his tenure of being Fire Chief for the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Fire Chief Cn'iffin stated that on January 1, 1995, he will pass his position of Fire Chief to <br />a new individual. He stated he intends to stay with the Fire Department as a Fire Fighter <br />but that he is looking for more personal time. He extended a thank you to the City Council <br />and recognized the Fire Board and its members. He felt that the Fire Board is an excellent <br />resource for the Fire Department. He also thanked the Administrative Services Staff and <br />the Fire Department members. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION TO MAYOR JAMES GILBERTSON <br /> <br />Councilmember Hardin (Mayor-Elect) read and presented a plaque to Mayor James <br />Gilbertson acknowledging his service and dedication during his two terms as Mayor for the <br />City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson stated that serving as Mayor has been a real education for him. He <br />learned a lot and he felt the Council did a lot in the last four years.
