These people would be in violation of the <br />ordinance am/ually. He also stated this law is assinine because if you have a car without a license <br />you are already breaking the law. <br /> <br />Darlene Boje; 7931 - 156th Avenue N.W. - stated she was opposed and felt the proposal was <br />stupid. She i0quired if race cars would be subject to the ordinance. She also inquired about cars <br />that don't pass emissions tests. <br />Ed Hamiltont 6615 Highway gl0 N.W. - stated he has been a resident since 1954 and that he <br />presently has ~t car that is unlicensed. He stated his hobby is fixing cars and, therefore, is opposed <br />to this ordinal, ce. <br /> <br />Resident, 842~ - 164th Lane N.W. - stated that motor homes sit out all the time but are not licensed <br />until April or ~May and also mentioned that car trailers are not licensed every year. He stated he <br />was opposed.l <br /> <br />Mr. Grombe~,g explained that the City receives many complaints regarding the problem of <br />unlicensed, ingperable vehicles and that most complaints are due to people with more than one. <br /> <br />Steve Welsh, ]4290 Dysprosium Street N.W. - inquired about the existing ordinance. <br /> <br />Mr. Gromberg read the current ordinance which states residential owners can currently have one <br />unlicensed vel~icle. <br /> <br />Mr. Welsh stated he could see nothing wrong with the current ordinance. <br /> <br />Harold, unldent~fwxl address - stated he is totally opposed as he is a single driver who owns more <br />than one vehicle and does not always have current tabs on his vehicles. <br /> <br />Doug Hanson; 1720 Ninth Avenue South, Anoka - stated he's had property in the industrial park <br />for over 15 yOars. He stated he's always had the hobby of repairing cars, came here with that in <br />mind and hasbeen doing it for years. He stated he is opposed. <br /> <br />Stanley Welsh, 15443 Ramsey Boulevard N.W. - stated he's been a resident for 25 years. He <br />stated that if the City wanted him to build a building large enough to store all his property inside, to <br />let him know ~nd he'll bulldoze next spring. <br />ADJOURNI~IENT <br />Motion by Co~nmissioner Holland and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
