I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The RamseylPIanning and Zoning Commission conducted a continuance of the October 5, 1993 <br />public heari~,g (also continued from November 4, 1993) on Thursday, December 7, 1993 at the <br />Ramsey Mut~icipal Center, 15153 Nowthcn Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota to hear input <br />regarding a ri~quest for preliminary plat approval of Chestnut Ridge; case of John Peterson, Good <br />Value Homes. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Michael Terry <br />Commissioner Terry Hendriksen <br />Commissioner Bradley Thomd <br /> <br />Also Present:, <br /> <br />City Engineer Steven Jankowski <br />Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson gawden called the public hearing to order at 7:40 p.m. <br /> <br />PRESENTATION <br /> <br />City Engineer; Jankowski stated the proposed plat consists of 12 single family lots. He explained <br />that he has been in contact with the developer about Krypton Street, which was initially platted as a <br />cul-de-sac corging out at the Wood Pond Hills subdivision, and they now feel it is feasible to have <br />Krypton Streit proceed as a through street across the ditch. <br /> <br />John Peterson, Good Value Homes, stated they were prepared to proceed with a new preliminary <br />plat showing Krypton Street as a through street going across the creek if that is what is desired. <br />They are willii~g t° do it either way but need to know what is acceptable. He discussed the cul-de- <br />sac vs. a throttgh street and how it affects the preliminary plat. <br /> <br />Gary Passe, Passe Engineering, explained how the plat would be revised to have Krypton Street <br />go across the( creek, with the DNR's permission, with a turn-around when the alignment of <br />Sunwood Drive is determined. He stated that the revision would add one more lot on the north <br />side of Krypt6n Street. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Terry and seconded by Commissioner Holland to adjourn the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing/Planning & Zoning Commission/December 7, 1993 <br /> Page I of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
