INTRODUCE ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF <br />INDUSTRY BOULEVARD NW TO BUNKER LAKE BOULEVARD NW <br />By: Steven J. Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />On July 8, 2003 a Public Heating was conducted on the proposal to change the name of Industry <br />Boulevard NW from the eastern 'City limits to Armstrong.Boulevard NW to Bunker Lake <br />Boulevard NW. The purpose of the name change is to create a uniform name for this major <br />fifteen-milelong arterial throughout the County, At the July meeting the Council directed that <br />an ordinance facilitating this name change be brought to the Council for introduction. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that Council pass a motion to introduce Ordinance 03-XX chan~ng the name <br />of Industry Boulevard NW from the eastern City limits tO Armstrong Boulevard NW to Bunker <br />Lake Boulevard NW. <br /> <br />Action: <br /> <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance 03-XX changing the name of Industry Boulevard NW from the <br />eastern City limits to Armstrong Boulevard NW to Bunker Lake Boulevard NW. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />City Administrator <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief <br />City Attorney <br /> <br />CC: 07/18/03 <br /> <br />-111- <br /> <br /> <br />
