CASE # <br /> <br />ADOPT ORDINANCE TO REZOBIE PROPERTY FROM R-1 SINGLE FAMILY <br />TO R-2 MEDII. tM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL; <br /> CASE OF OAK CREEK BUILDERS, INC. <br /> By: Megan'Wald, Associate Planner <br /> <br />Background{ <br /> <br />The City Council introduced an ordinance to rezone property located north of Alpine Drive and <br />east of Sunfish Lake Blvd. from R-1 Single Family Residential to R-2~Medium Density <br />Residential (also known as Alpine Acres 2nd Addition). The City Council introduced the <br />ordinance to rezone the subject property contingent upon Metropolitan Council approving the <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the subject property's land use designation kn the <br />Comprehensive Plan from low density residential to medium density residential. <br /> <br />The following items' are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) Site Location Map <br />b) Letter from Metropolitan Council dated July 10, 2003 <br />c) Ordinance <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Staff received a letter from Phyllis Hanson, Manager of Planning and Technical Assistance at <br />Metropolitan Council dated July 10, 2003, stating their approval of the Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendment.
