I I I I I I I I CITY COUNCIL CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 9, 1993 at the RamScy Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. Members Present: Mayor James Gilbertson Councilmember Sheila Beyer Councilmember Glen Hardin Councilmember Kenneth Peterson Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman Also Present: City Adminislyator Ryan Schroeder Finance Officer Sandra Ashley Helling City Engineer Steven Jankowski Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik City Attorney William Goodrich CALL TO ORDER Mayor Gilbertson called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:32 p.m. and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. CITIZEN INPUT Steve andCindy McKay, 7855 - 157th Avenue N.W., Ramsey, stated they bought a house in Ramscy four years ago in a 2.5 acre subdivision. Now they wish to build a pole shed and they., have been told their request may be turned down because they actually have 2.3 acres. They felt this was unfair. Mayor Oilbertson stated that the City is dealing with the issue of how lot size is determined at the time of platting versus code enforcement. He added that he doesn't have a problem with the buildings. I I I I I Cindy MeKay stated that a resident living a block from her built a 26' x 30' pole structure. Councilraember Hardin suggested the McKay's attend the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting and offer their input during the discussion of this issue. Refer to page 4 for additional comments. APPROVE AGENDA City Administrator Schroeder requested to add a case; "Report from Personnel Committee", which would be discussed between Case #4 and #5. He also requested to switch the order of Case #5 and #6 so that all three closed cases could be dealt with at the end of the meeting.
